Bed Wetting and GoodNites

Earlier this month, I told you about the difference between potty training and bed wetting. An easy way to remember this is that bed wetting is NOT something that your child can control. But GoodNites bed mats can help make clean up easier and help your child not worry about accidents.

I’ve been using GoodNites for a couple of months now, and it has become one of the few products that I recommend to all moms. These bed mats are easy to use and disposable. I love that you can keep them on the bed until they are used – you don’t need to change them every night and waste them.

I also like how comfortable the kids are with having them on their beds; they know if they have an accident that it’s okay…that the GoodNites bed mats will catch the mess.

I appreciate that the mats can be put under sheets or over sheets. My children rarely wet the bed, so we use it under the sheets as extra protection. If your child wets the bed frequently, you can stick them right on top of the sheets! No sheet change!

If you are currently experiencing bed wetting issues with your child or children, I encourage you to give GoodNites a try! I also encourage you to be patient and not to get discouraged or upset with your child…remember, bed wetting is something that they have no control over, but will (eventually) grow out of. Did you know that 1 out of 9 children experience bed wetting? It’s a rather common issue, so know that your child is in the norm.

I also encourage you to head over to the GoodNites site to learn more about bed wetting and to take the Better Night Test. Information is power, and parents can use all the help that we can get!

If you are ready to try the mats out yourself, head over and get your $2 off GoodNites coupon. Note: the coupon will expire 2 weeks after you print it out, so make sure not to print it until you are ready to use it!

Does your child experience bed wetting? How do you handle it?
